The Road Department is located next to the Township Municipal Office.  The department is comprised of four (4) full-time employees.  The department is responsible for the road construction and maintenance, storm sewer and drainage work, winter snow and ice removal and the erection of traffic and street signs.  The department maintains approximately 40 miles of Township roads.  Recently, the Township has purchased a road widener and paver to allow the road department to complete more projects without hiring contractors to perform the work.  The use of this equipment has reduced the cost of various road projects.  Residents are encouraged to contact the Road Department if you notice any road condition that requires attention.
